Unless someone like you focuses on conservation first, nothing will ever change. Looking for the gaps in the insulation envelope of your home can be a simple way to reduce your monthly expenses for energy use. To be clear, holes in your walls thermal blanket are wasting you money.

The most common places that have problems are above the windows and doors (header), at corners, top of wall, and floors above crawls spaces. There are also usually big leaks in the bonus room over a garage, attic access, behind tubs and showers, and around windows.
