Harrisonburg Farmhouse

PROJECT LOCATION: Rockingham County
CONTRACTOR: Beck Builders
PHOTOGRAPHER: Susan with Beck Builders

With a family gathering space with 180 degree views, this house was designed to bring the family together and keep them organized. It provides various spaces for family and friends to gather and build relationships, host bible studies, share meals, and build deep relationships while being the hub for a working family. The home has wide open spaces that welcome in lots of light and is designed to be energy efficient and comfortable. The kitchen allows for many to gather to prepare meals and the large windows invite in the incredible views. The large wraparound porch provides spaces to gather in the shade or to take in the warmth of the sun. The oversized mudroom keeps everyone organized and contains day-to-day clutter all in one space by the garage breezeway doors. The primary bedroom suite is designed as an oasis on the other side of the house from all the other living spaces while the basement offers expandable living spaces for the future.
